Cool, Entertainment

I’m a Cougars fan at heart, and it was disheartening to see them fall apart this evening. However, unlike most of my blue and white kin, I don’t have any animosity for the ‘team up north’. No, not even a little bit. In fact, I’m happy to have the best team represent the conference in a BCS berth.

I don’t pretend to know a crap-load about the gospel sports, but when your star QB throws 5 interceptions and gives up a fumble recovery, you’re doomed. Commentators for the post-game show were quick to dissect the reasons why BYU lost and quite honestly tap-danced around the 800lb. gorilla in the room… The fact that Max Hall totally sucked tonight.
The defense showed up and gave a decent effort, and Austin Collie is near fail-proof. I think Max Hall vs. any mediocre team will always put up great numbers. But Max Hall under pressure always caves. He also stares down his receivers too long, and the defense can read him like the Children’s Song Book. Hall has done some amazing things this year, unfortunately those things were not done while under pressure from gnarly defensive lines and backs like TCU and Utah.

PERFECTION.
C’mon Bronco, is that a little pretentious?

So this begs the question; when are these shirts going to start selling at the BYU Bookstore?
